Why join the Nebraska Horse Council? That’s a good question. There is only so much time in a day and everyone is busy with family, work, and their own horses and interests. On a beautiful Nebraska day you want to be out on your horse, or working on your place, not at a meeting. So what’s in it for you?
The NHC can not be all things to all people, but we try to meet the needs of Nebraska horse owners and horse-related businesses. If every member can do a little bit, even just paying dues, it helps those active in the Council strive to do more. Active members are even more valuable! Come to a meeting and see if there are activities that interest you or your family. From trails to legislation, there are a lot of horse issues affecting riders every day!
The following is just a sample of the benefits for Nebraska Horse Council members. We are always open to suggestions for new ways to benefit our members. Please feel free to share your ideas with us. We hope you will join and become active to continue to strengthen the NHC.
The cost of membership is $45 for an individual and $70 for a family per year. The year runs from January 1st through December 31st. We also have memberships for clubs, associations and businesses. To view the costs for these membership types refer to the membership form.
