The 10th Annual Nebraska Horse Expo will be held March 12 – 14 at the Lancaster Event Center in Lincoln. The expo provides much in the way of new ideas, products and information to take back home and to the barn.  This year promises to be the biggest and best yet with nationally renowned clinicians Tommie Turvey, Richard Winters, Matt McLaughlin and Julie Goodnight and three action-packed days of equine related activities.

SCHEDULE

The Nebraska Horse Expo is the place to be with an exciting Youth Rodeo on Friday night and a dance, featuring the music of West Wind, on Saturday night. The Expo also features evening equine performances, equine related presentations, and vendors and of course, horses galore!!

The Nebraska Model Horse Expo is returning as are other popular features including breed demonstrations, an equine photo contest, and presentations by vets, farriers and other equine experts. And don’t miss The Mane Challenge a friendly team competition designed to showcase the versatility of the different equine breeds. Get the family up and going on Sunday morning for an ecumenical service at the Cowboy Church which is open to all Horse Expo ticket holders and Expo attendees. If you feel the need for speed catch the barrel races on Sunday afternoon. Get an early start and stay for all three days so that you can make the most of the Nebraska Horse Expo.

As a subsidiary of the non-profit Nebraska Horse Council, the Nebraska Horse Expo has proven its worth as a means of raising money to support the Council’s grants, trail improvement work and continued benefit of the Nebraska horse industry.

The Nebraska Horse Expo committee strives to meet the needs of Nebraska horse owners. So while at the Expo please complete a survey or do so online after the Expo so we can insure the demonstrations and clinicians for 2010 are what you want.
